Montréal International Jazz Festival

The 42nd edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is happening from June 30th– July 9th – perfectly aligned with the timing of the ISPGR Congress. The Jazz Festival will host both indoor and outdoor concerts. Shows that are indoors will be for a fee (we recommend booking early), meanwhile all outdoors shows are free to attend. One of the stages for the outdoor concerts are at Place ds Arts, a 1.3km walk away from Hotel Bonaventure. GET TICKETS

Montréal Contemporary Art Museum

While originated in a small town in Quebec in the 1980’s, Cirque du Soleil is now a global circus revolution. Go see the popular KOOZA show at Cirque du Soleil located at the Old Port. We recommend booking tickets early. GET TICKETS

Old Port

The Old Port is a hub for activities in Downtown Montréal. Here you can go to the Montréal Science Centre, see a film at the IMAX theatre, get a lovely view from the Ferris Wheel or admire Montréal from up above in a more adventurous fashion – flying high in a Zipline. LEARN MORE

Activities a metro ride away

The closest metro station to the conference site is “Metro Bonaventure”.

Parc Jean-Drapeau

This unique park is only minutes away from downtown Montréal with the Metro. Take the Metro to station “Jean-Drapeau”. Here you will find endless park space, the Jean-Dore Beach, Casino de Montréal, the environment focused museum Biosphere, and last but not least La Ronde – Montréal’s own exciting amusement park. Kayaks, Canoes, and paddle boats/boards

Just steps from the Atwater Market (Public Market Hall) lays the Lachine Canal and the Lachine Canal Nautical Centre. Here you can rent watercrafts such as electric boats, pedal boats.
