Membership Overview
Membership in ISPGR is open to scientists, researchers, clinicians and students from around the world involved in the many research and practical aspects of Gait and Posture. Membership dues support the ISPGR’s mission of creating a community of multidisciplinary posture and gait researchers and students.

Member Categories
Regular Members
Any person who is engaged in research or clinical practice related to posture and gait is eligible to be a regular member.
Students & Post Docs
Students enrolled in degree granting programs at institutions of higher learning and post doctoral fellows are eligible to be student members.
Developing Nations Members
If you are currently residing in a country identified on the World Bank list of developing nations (Low Income, Low-Middle Income, or Upper-Middle Income, please contact us for the discounted membership code. You will require this code to become a member at the complimentary rate. Please note that you must be currently residing in the identified country in order to qualify for the membership reduction.
Member Dues
ISPGR membership dues have changed to become a two year membership, starting October 1st and expiring September 30th of the second year. The current membership period expires September 30, 2026. Current membership dues are:

New Software System
ISPGR has migrated to an updated Membership software, therefore your renewal/join process may be different.
Depending on your situation, click either the join or renew button below.
If renewing
On the landing page select the “Forgot Password” link under the “Forgot Password” heading. Enter your current email related to your membership account (this is the email you are receiving membership renewals email at), and you will be sent an email with instructions to reset your password. Please note, the reset email may take up to 30 minutes to arrive in your inbox Once you have created your new password, you can log-in to your new Conference Manager Dashboard. These credentials will also be required for submitting an abstract and registering for the conference.
If joining
If you are not a current member, please create an account.
On the landing page, select “create user profile” under the New User heading. After you create your account, you will use your email, and new password to log into the system. These credentials will also be required for submitting an abstract and registering for the conference.
Next step
The center tile of the dashboard will say Membership Enrollment – click the link that says, “Renew Now” or “Enroll Now”. Once you select the appropriate membership type, you will have the option to pay online with a VISA, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit card via our secure payment processor. If you would prefer to pay via phone, fax, mail or electronic funds transfer, you will find the necessary information listed.

Committee Involvement
ISPGR would like to know which members are keen to be actively involved on the following society committees. You will have the option to select one when joining or renewing your membership. If you are not interested, please select ‘None’.
- External Relations Committee: for members with access to corporate networks and a willingness to approach sponsors
- Communications Committee: for members comfortable with website content, correspondence and social media
- Awards Committee: for members available to review award applications in January and also onsite at the world congress
