Conference Hotel + UVM Dorms ::

Wyndham Hotel:

Located just 1 block from beautifual Lake Champlain, the Wyndham Hotel is the site of the ISPGR 2007 conference. Wyndham Hotel Bookings are open now for the ISPGR Conference. We encourage you to make hotel reservations at the Wyndham Hotel now since the conference takes place during the popular summer season.

UVM University Height Residences:
Closed May 15th

Located on the UVM campus, the newly constructed UVM University Heights Residence Hall - South Complex Dormitories are just a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Wyndham Hotel. Rooms are doubles or singles (only twin beds are available), air-conditioned, and the daily rate includes a semi-private or private bath, linens and an optional breakfast. A free shuttle bus will be scheduled in the morning and at the end of the day to transport attendees to/from the conference.

**Double Room with Linen: $41.25/person/night
Add a Continental Breakfast to your stay: $9.00/breakfast

To Travel to Burlington ::

Air Travel: Burlington International Airport is served by several major airlines: United, Delta, US Airways, Continental and Jet Blue, all of which make direct connections to Burlington from New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington Dulles, and Newark.

Bus: There is bus service to Burlington from Boston (approximately 4 hours), Montreal (approximately 3 hours) and New York (6 hours).

If you do not intend to attend the Pre-conference but would still like to utilize the bus service please visit the Greyhound website at http://www.greyhound.ca/ for more information.

Car: Thrifty Car Rental has arranged for special car rental rates for ISPGR 2007 attendees. Reservations must be booked by calling the Burlington location, 802.863.5500 x 16, or through email, thriftyvt@aol.com . When making a reservation inquiry please refer to the 2007 ISPG conference, or source/referral 9009509. The Thrifty corporate reservation services on the Internet or 1-800-thrifty will not recognize the conference discount. If you do send an email request please include: pick up date and time, drop off date and time, as well as the size of the vehicle you would like to reserve. To travel from Burlington International Airport to Wyndham Hotel or the UVM dormitories ::

Complimentary Shuttle: The Wyndham Hotel has a free shuttle that leaves on the hour from the airport. You can also call the hotel to request a pickup - just use the Wyndham courtesy phone in the Baggage Claim area.

Taxi: The taxi fare is approximately $10 (US) from the airport to downtown Burlington and is about a 10-15 minute ride.

Bus: There is a public bus sytem that travels directly from the airport to downtown Burlington. Take the AIRPORT bus to the UVM Living/Learning stop to get to the UVM University Heights Dormitories (see www.uvm.edu/map/ for campus map) or to the Cherry Street stop and then walk toward the lake 3 blocks to get to the Wyndham Hotel.

Car: Thrifty Car Rental has arranged for special car rental rates for ISPGR 2007 attendees (see above). The hotel charge for overnight parking is $5.50 (US). Parking is free at the UVM Dormitories.
