Getting to Trondheim

Trondheim Airport, Værnes (TRD), the main international airport in Trondheim, is approximately 30 kilometres away from the city centre (30 minutes by car). There are multiple daily domestic departures and arrivals, as well as regular direct flights from Stockholm, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London (Stansted) and Prague to name a few.

Getting from the Airport to Trondheim

Trondheim Airport, Værnes is 35 kilometers from the city center. The Airport Express Coach offers quick and frequent transportation between Trondheim city centre and Trondheim Airport Værnes. The Airport Express Coach stops just outside the Clarion Hotel and Congress Centre Trondheim.

Getting around within Trondheim

Once you arrive in Trondheim, it is very easy to get to and from the airport. There is an airport bus that departs every 15 minutes (on weekdays) and stops just outside the Clarion Hotel & Congress Trondheim. For details regarding the full airport bus schedule and rates, click here.
