Congress Overview

We are pleased to announce that our next meeting will take place in Trondheim, Norway from June 24 – 28, 2012. In addition to being ISPGR’s 20th International Congress, we are partnering with the Gait & Mental Function Conference. We therefore invite you to attend the Joint World Congress of ISPGR and Gait & Mental Function, during the summer solstice in the beautiful and historic city of Trondheim, Norway.

The congress will be held at the Clarion Hotel and Congress Centre Trondheim, a state-of-the-art, energy efficient facility and Norway’s largest meeting and congress centre, opening in April 2012. 

The congress theme is: Movement Analysis – From Bench to Bedside. Under the guidance of our International Scientific Committee, the congress will include presentations of interest to researchers and practitioners in the fields of Posture, Gait and Mental Function. Specific congress topics and presentation streams include:

• Development and aging
• Falls and falls prevention
• Cognitive impairments
• Vestibular function and disorders
• Neurological, orthopedic and psychiatric diseases
• Physical activity and exercise interventions
